My entrepreneurial idea is on the topic of sports and sports organizations. My idea is to create a universal events calendar for sports team and its events. Most Sports teams and leagues have a game schedule but it doesn't seem like any of them have a calendar for all the events the hold or support that are not actual games.
I know one of my favorite teams the buffalo sabres hold a lot of events but its really hard to hear about them. I think it would be nice if every team, in the big four sports leagues, had such a calendar like this that they would have a more aware fan base and more turnout for events. Not only should these teams make a calender in a list form, my idea is for these event to be in a monthly calender format.
How my idea relates to this past weeks lectures is that one way in which organization can use social media is to promote jobs. My idea can relate to that because it can serve the same function by letting the public know about organizational job fairs. Another way in which you can relate my idea to the lecture about social media is that you could post this/these calendar(s) or a link to the calendar on a social media site which does two this for you, it utilizes social media to broaden who it reaches and it promotes the organization's brand.,
The creation of an aggregation site could be really beneficial for all of these different schedules. For this specific idea, i would look into sites out there that have aspects of the information that you would be looking to gather and see if there is a way that you could dynamically pull the information rather than have to manually put it in on a week by week basis.
ReplyDeleteFrom one Sport fan to another I love the idea you are trying to accomplish. I think its an efficient and fast way to view all of the games at once instead of going from one schedule to another. To improve your idea a little better you can also upgrade and put the scores in and also a summary of the team and players. I like how you related your idea to the lectures for putting that on social medias would improve your businesses popularity.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea for fans to get to more than JUST the games. Are you aiming for just a schedulizer or more of a roster and stat type deal? I love this idea and it collobarates everything that is going on very well.
