Blog Review post (#7)

The blog that I choose to review is called the Makibie blog, and for a simple reason it is the blog of the Makibie company. Makibie is a interactive services that helps companies use technology to connect with costumers and achieve their eBusiness goals. Most of the content of this blog relates to helping business owner understand computers and how to use computers to improve their businesses.
Although all the content of this blog doesn't directly relate to my idea of a event calendar for sports organization and their non-game events that they hold, I found some very relevant blog posts about data and information aggregation that is very useful to expanding my idea. This blog can be useful for many or all of us doing this project because it addresses problems that businesses run into when dealing with consumers through technology and technological issues that occur while running a business.
I learned a lot from this blog, especially those about data aggregation. In those specific blog posts, Makibie gave numerous examples of current aggregation site like mint.com and familyhelathportfolio.com. In this posts they also described the power of using data aggregation; like this time saving nature simplicity that aggregation can provide.
I know that this was suppose to by my blog review blog post but I cannot resist tying in today's lecture to my idea because it is so relevant to it. Today's lecture on databases really relates to my idea of the sports event calendar, like in the way in which my data can be organized. To use a database that would be to optimize my calendar/s function and if managed properly could prevent some future hardships, like Professor Rubin said in class.
