Throughout the project I discovered that the different types of idea that everyone had related to the lecture topics in many different ways. My idea was purely based on making a website that would provide those interested with information about the events other than the actual games that sports organisations hold. Since my idea was more of a service than a product, I would a few of the topic extremely relevant and many others difficult to related directly to my topic. Through looking at other ideas in the class, I thought to myself that sometimes technology can relate more to products than to services, at least to the topics we learned in class. This could be really helpful to keep in mind when I take my entrepreneurial requirement class where we have to create a business/make a business plan.
As the project progressed so did my idea. I would have never though to think of thinks like integrating an aggregation technique to compile all the information about the events. Some of the topics that I found difficult to relate to my idea were the input and output and bits and bytes. One topic that I found extremely help full was the one about digital color, since my idea is mostly based off of a website or other information channels, this topic really made me think about aspects that I probably would not have thought about before this class. Overall I loved what I got out of this project and I feel like I really learned a lot not only though lecture but though they project as well.
